Attention Parents:
I need to give a baby gift to someone who does not have a baby registry. They had a boy about a month ago. They said they would prefer unisex gifts (I guess that means nothing in blue?) and they specifically requested homemade items or organic stuff (is stuff organic?). I would prefer to buy online and would prefer not to spend more than $20 or so.
Anyone have any suggestions?

you can do all that “California baby” diaper balm stufff. That’s “organic”. Might I also suggest burp cloths? you can get bamboo ones which should make them happy. And you can never have too many burp cloths.

board books and Melissa and Doug toys are fantastic and usually non-gender-specific. cuddly toys, also awesome. also, you are awesome. xoxoxoxo

you can get clothes/onesies that are made of organic cotton, but in my experience those type are not cheap

You can’t go wrong with anything made by Plan Toys and Melissa & Doug. Usually never made from plastic, available at Amazon, and many under $20.

Books. Books are always appropriate. Goodnight Moon was a bedtime favorite. The Little Prince maybe. Nothing wrong with a keepsake book to grow into.
